Terms of use

These terms apply when you use the Shapewise app and this website. By using Shapewise you agree to them. Shapewise is provided by Oscar Pedersen ("we").

What Shapewise does

You film a movement, and Shapewise tracks your body, measures the movement and suggests what to work on, with a drill for it. The feedback is produced automatically from your video. It is a training aid, not a replacement for a coach, a physiotherapist or a doctor.

Train safely

• Shapewise does not give medical advice. If you have an injury, pain or a health condition, talk to a professional before you train.
• Stop if something hurts. You train at your own risk.
• Set up your phone and the space around you so filming is safe for you and others.

Your account

You can try Shapewise with a guest account. To keep your analyses across devices or to buy Shapewise Pro, you sign in with your email and a one-time code. Keep access to your email safe, because anyone who can read it can sign in. You must be at least 13 to use Shapewise, and if you are under 16 you need a parent or guardian's permission.

Your videos

• Only upload videos of yourself, or of people who have agreed to it.
• You keep all rights to your videos. You give us permission to process them only to run the analysis and show you your results.
• Videos are deleted after the analysis, as described in the privacy policy.

Free analyses and Shapewise Pro

• Your first 3 completed analyses are free. An analysis that fails does not count.
• Shapewise Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, sold through the App Store or Google Play. The price is shown in the app before you buy.
• For a limited time Pro may also be offered as a one-time lifetime purchase. It does not renew and gives Pro for as long as Shapewise is offered, under the same fair use as the subscription.
• If a free trial is offered, it turns into a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel before.
• Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app or your Shapewise account does not cancel it.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules.
• Pro includes up to 20 analyses a day as fair use, to keep the service fast for everyone.

Fair use

Do not try to break, overload, copy or reverse engineer the service, get around the limit on free analyses or use Shapewise for anything illegal. We may suspend accounts that do.

How accurate it is

Pose tracking works best with a steady camera, good light and your whole body in the frame, and it can still make mistakes. Scores and measurements are estimates from a phone video. We work to make them useful, but we do not promise they are complete or error free.

Liability

We provide Shapewise as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for injuries from training, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

Ending

You can stop using Shapewise and delete your account at any time from the app. We may end or change the service; if we stop it completely, we will give you reasonable notice.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.

Law

These terms are governed by Danish law. If you live in the EU, you also keep the protection of the consumer laws where you live.
